How To Draw BRAIDS 👩‍🦱

Step 0: Draw a head!

Step 1: Draw a pale line

Start with a pale line to map out where you want the braid to be.

Step 2: Add a zigzag

Add a zigzag over the line, making sure the top is looser than the bottom.

Step 3: Extend the lines

Extend your zigzag's second or third diagonal section upwards, creating a slight curve.

Repeat with each diagonal section.

Steps 4 & 5: Refine the top and bottom

Connect the top of the braid to the rest of the hair and finish the bottom as desired.

Step 6: Draw loose strands and refine the gaps

Ta-da!
